As a child, I always had a keen interest in art. I have vivid memories of my first pop-up book from Edward Gorey, the first time i saw Salvador Dali’s melted clocks, and curiosities about the woman with one eyebrow, Frida Khalo. All three of these artists have one thing in common, they defied conformity and created their own new genres. I never imagined I would end up as a floral designer, but i knew whatever I did, it would have to challenge my creativity. Lets just say I “fell” into the wedding industry and have been hooked ever since. Being an artist first gives me an advantage of having a “non-conformative” perspective to weddings and events. I have made it my mission to push the boundaries in the industry, leaving lasting impressions of the work we produce for any occasion.

About No.9
I am thrilled to announce No. 9, a unique new retail concept store in San Antonio.Five years ago, my partner and I visited New Orleans for the first time together, and since that we trip we have been back many times. We have a love affair with the city, its people, its history, and its spirit. Every time we visit, we bring back a piece of the city’s soul and culture. No. 9 is a reflection of that.
When I started Statue of Design over 9 years ago, I never anticipated the growth we’ve experienced lately. But because of the love and loyalty our clients and others in the community have shown us, I decided to expand into retail floral and gifts.
No. 9 is a specialty shop focusing on unique retail floral, specialty gourmet chocolates from the Sweet Shop USA, with a focus on inspired gifts handcrafted and made in San Antonio and New Orleans. We’ve combined French Creole and Mexican culture to provide the San Antonio community with an array of products that can’t be found anywhere else. We are excited about this new venture and can’t wait to show you more!

Of course! You can let us know your preferred flowers or color palette. While some blooms may be seasonal or limited, we’ll do our best to create an arrangement that reflects your vision.
What happens if the recipient isn’t home?
If the recipient isn’t available, our driver will either leave the flowers in a safe spot or, if needed, arrange a re-delivery at a later time.
Do you deliver flowers to hospitals, offices, or event venues in San Antonio?
Yes, we deliver to homes, hospitals, businesses, and venues across San Antonio. Please provide the full address and any delivery notes during checkout.
Can I include add-ons with my bouquet or arrangement?
Absolutely! We offer a variety of flower delivery add-ons to personalize your arrangement such as small gifts or keepsakes. You’ll see available add-ons on each product page and again at checkout.
How do I make my flowers last longer?
Trim the stems, place them in fresh water, and keep the arrangement in a cool spot away from direct sunlight to extend their life.
